So often we tuck our ambitions and dreams in a safe, little compartment, hidden from view. Such a safe place to keep our hopes and dreams—no one ever has the opportunity to squash them.

We all have defunct mental treasures that we hold close, whether they are outdated or never ever served us at all. Why do we cling to the useless? I’ve been thinking a lot about goals lately, what they mean, how we reach them and how they change us. |
